Landmark Place, 495-499 Boundary Street, Spring Hill

QEG was engaged by the Landmark Place Body Corporate (CTS 15649, managed by Yule Strata) to replace four end-of-life DX air-handling units and their condensers with a central water-cooled chilled water plant serving the office and auditorium spaces at 495-499 Boundary Street, Spring Hill. Following an ROI analysis comparing the existing DX system against new DX and new water-cooled chilled water options, the Body Corporate selected the water-cooled chilled water solution which offered the strongest long-term operating-cost savings. QEG delivered the project on a design-and-construct basis, fabricating the chilled water plant offsite as a Quantum Cool Module skid (chiller, pumps, pipework, electrical and controls) to minimise on-site disruption and air-conditioning downtime during the changeover. The skid was craned into position adjacent to a new high-efficiency cooling tower, connected to two new and two refurbished chilled water AHUs, and commissioned with the Quantum Plant Manager BMS and remote-monitoring service.
