Pre-Fabrication

We understand that in many cases downtime of the cooling plant is critical and we therefore have optimised pre-fabrication of chilled water plant in order to:

1. Minimize works on site: time and cost saving
2. Maximize quality control: packages are build off site under controlled conditions without time pressure
3. Meet program: skids are prefabricated complete with pumps, pipework, fittings, electrical and controls whilst the chillers are being manufactured (which have the longest lead time). Once the chillers arrive in Australia they are dropped onto the skid and hydraulically and electrically connected ready for site installation almost immediately after arrival of the chillers.

We have recently completed a complete DX plant replacement at a 10-storey commercial building in Brisbane including four off air handling units. By prefabricating the chiller skid we were able to complete this project over just one weekend, starting Friday night and having the plant operating again on Sunday afternoon. We provide these services to both end customers and contractors alike.
